THE YARN GLOWS!!
I needed batting for my projects since I’ve run out. My wife said that we could get some from Fabricland and so we went there to get some batting and then we did a stop over at Zellers. In the end, I bought three different yarns, some scissors, and a bag of batting.
I have a problem.
I NEEDED that batting! I had none! I needed some for my finger puppet heads. I was originally going to post about the finger puppets, but I was too busy knitting.
And I needed the white yarn! I was only going to get one. But there was a sale! Who can resist yarn sales?!
And then… and then…
LOOK!! LOOK AT THIS YARN! LOOK! IT GLOWS! THIS YARN GLOWS!
WHY DIDN’T ANYONE TELL ME THIS EXISTS!
IT FREAKIN’ GLOWS! ALL THE LIGHTS ARE OFF IN MY HOUSE BECAUSE IT GLOWS!
I am so excited right now I want to make videos of my glowing yarn!!
AND NOW A PIC OF IT IN THE DARK!
I need time to collect myself.
Anyway, not only did I get glowing yarn for a glowing Totoro, I got some fluffy white yarn for a fluffy white Totoro. And some normal yarn to do the white parts of my Animaniac puppets.
And I got some cool scissors! Look! It looks like a marker, but when you pop it open, SCISSORS!
Now I don’t have to put my fingers through small uncomfortable holes and press together! (Wow, that sentence can have all sorts of wrong connotations). It’s just a simple squeeze and snip! It’s much easier for all of us that find the manipulation of scissors SO difficult! So very difficult.
Ok, all this purchasing and glowing has gone a bit to my head.
And now I have no money. It was all spent on yarn.
